چکیده
Objective: The To distinguish between basal and non-basal subtypes of triple-negative breast cancers based on epidermal growth factor receptor cytokeratin 5/6, to establish the association diagnosis with clinicopathological parameters survival rates. Methods: retrospective study was conducted at Clinical Oncology Nuclear Medicine Department Kafrelsheikh University Hospital Tanta Hospital, Egypt, comprised medical records from January 2014 December 2018 related cases histopathologically proven cancer who had been treated followed up for least 5 years. evaluated using immunohistochemistry Cytokeratin 5/6 expression. Data prognostic factors, overall diseasefree retrieved. analysed SPSS 21.Results: There were 100 patients median age 50 years (inter-quartile range: 35-55.25 years; 22-69 years). 58(58%) pre-menopausal subjects, 15(15%) positive family history, 68(68%) tumour size T2. Basal markers noted in 74(74%) patients. subtype significantly more common aged <50 diagnosis, premenopausal women, nodal status, those grade III tumours, Ki67 proliferation marker >20% (p<0.05). Tumour size, histological lympho-vascular invasion not different groups (p>0.05). worse disease-free rates (p<0.05).Conclusion: Triple-negative expressed and/or found have poor findings, survival. Keywords: Breast neoplasms, antigen, EGFR Receptors, Oncology.

Altered Expression of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) in Glioma
EGFR is a key molecule in cancer cells. EGFR signaling was shown to promote tumor cell proliferation and survival, invasion and angiogenesis and mediate resistance to treatment, including ionizing radiation in preclinical models. We extracted proteins from astrocytoma (III and IV) oligodendroglioma(IV) tumors and normal brain tissues and then evaluated the protein purity by Bradford test ...

متن کاملEpidermal growth factor receptor status in operable invasive breast cancer: is it of any prognostic value?
Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) expression has been studied extensively for its prognostic value, yet large overviews still indicate that it has no prognostic significance in contrast to data from individual studies (1). Several reasons account for this such as differences in sample size, study design and methodology, influence of adjuvant therapy, and short follow-up. To help address s...
متن کاملThe Relationship Between Fibroblastic Growth Factor Receptor-1 (FGFR1) Gene Amplification in Triple Negative Breast Carcinomas and Clinicopathological Prognostic Factors
Background & Objective: In Triple-Negative Breast Cancers (TNBCs), estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR) and HER2/neu genes are not expressed. Fibroblastic Growth Factor Receptor-1 (FGFR1) gene product is a protein that acts as a receptor of thyrosin kinase. It plays a role in the proliferation, differentiation, and migration of malignant cells. The objective was t...
